Kraid is a boss found in Cataris. In all categories besides unrestricted, killing them is required to obtain the diffusion beam.
Charlie Strat (Faster)Missile Strat (Easier)
- Spam missiles into Kraid's lower side of his mouth to ensure they always land, if he starts spitting fireballs at you, perform various spin fast charge shots into his mouth and advance to Phase 2.

- Mash your beam onto his belly to make him drop the Magnet Wall, then ride it up.
- Sometimes he will throw his belly nails one after another, time your jumps to climb them up as they hit the wall to reach the Magnet Wall early.

- Continue firing missiles into his mouth, if you see his eyes light up that indicates he is about to punch you, anticipate that to jump away from the wall and grab it again. When he throws nails at you, stop firing missiles and shoot them with Wide Beam and resume.
Avoid triggering any parry cutscenes as you will do reduced damage, you can achieve this by aiming away just before the sequence starts.
