Below are the recommended consistent custom turbo settings in FlyDigi Space Station to achieve various speeds of Gold Skip. Set your turbo fire frequency to these values for best results. Values other than these may work, but the consistency will depend on your environment, your console, and the amount of interference present.

This controller's analog sticks do not degrade in quality over time. Learn more.
This controller's analog sticks can be set to either "rectangular" or "circular" mode. For Metroid Dread, make sure to set the sticks to "circular" mode to ensure that free aim is as accurate as possible.

The analog stick sensors are extremely precise and responsive, with a customizable response curve for each stick (via the companion app). The sensors are precise enough that the sticks have no deadzone by default, but this can be customized using the companion app.
With factory settings, the sticks do suffer from moderate snapback, but there is a per-profile setting called "Joystick Debounce" which eliminates snapback without any negative side-effects.
This controller provides trigger stop switches that allow the user to change between analog and digital triggers. For Metroid Dread, make sure your trigger stops are in the "UP" position.
This controller has an atypical face button layout for a Switch controller. This is purely cosmetic.

A, B, X, YHardware: D-Pad is very good, face buttons are easy to press but difficult to press accidentally. The flipper back paddles often get in the way but are removable.
Firmware: No reported issues
The best controller I've used to date.
Translates great from the [FlyDigi Vader] Pro 4 without the larger paddles attached.
Unlike the Vader 4, the sticks on the Vader 5 can be configured to be completely circular in Nintendo Switch mode.
The effort needed to click the analog sticks on the Vader 5 is no longer tied to the stick tensioner, which is an improvement from the Vader 4.
Profile quick-switching is a lot harder to do accidentally than with the Vader 4.
No shortage of programmable buttons!
Pretty difficult to open up even for just cleaning.
High interference can cause the Vader 5 to drop Bluetooth packets, resulting in reduced turbo speed in BT mode on average.
Seems more susceptible to Bluetooth interference than its predecessor.
