This guide is in a draft state and may not be complete.
Only accessible on v2.1.0 or higher, Survival Rush is an endless mode similar to Boss Rush, except it allows you to challenge as many bosses as you can survive through.
Boss Rush and Dread Rush are covered in a separate guide. This guide only concerns Survival Rush.
This guide assumes that you have read over the Boss Rush guide, as well as the various strategies used for these bosses.
This guide will go over various strategies for each of the bosses, with a focus on maintaining missile count and managing time effectively when fighting. These strategies will hopefully allow you to adapt to the situation effectively as you will loop through the bosses 12 times.
Note: Bomuhey skew will not be covered in this guide, as its uses are currently not documented well enough in Survival Rush. Once its application in this mode has been explored sufficiently, we will add strategies as necessary.
In Survival Rush, you have five minutes, timed on the In-Game Timer (IGT), to defeat as many bosses as you can. Each defeated boss adds more time to the timer:
Defeating a boss without taking damage doubles the time gain. The mode ends when you either run out of time or die.
Raven Beak adds time in between each of his phases, but you will only get the double time gain for his third phase. For instance, if you are fighting him for the first time and you don't get hit in all three phases, 30 seconds will be added for phase one, 30 seconds for phase two, and 60 seconds for phase three.
Corpius becomes far easier to defeat when you have the 120 missiles with you as you can miss a good amount of times without worry. Be careful though, in order to maintain a good amount of missiles, try to end this fight without going below 80 missles. If you are low on missiles, maybe because Raven Beak left you on low, trigger his third phase by shooting his tail's weak spot and counter him without taking his counter animation. This will get you a small amount of missiles back without wasting too much time. Headlock makes this fight much easier on the missile count. Make sure to never get hit and locked out from dealing damage as Corpius is one of the best bosses to gain time on.
Kraid will eat up a ton of your missiles, but doing Charge Missiles against him will make the fight much more missile managable. His second phase will require you to use only missiles, so make sure to take any counters and cancel them so you can refill as much as possible.
Try your best not to take damage. During the first cycle, definitely reset if you take damage in this fight, but on later cycles it does not matter as much.
In phase 1, if Kraid does his spit attack, only shoot charge beams at his mouth. The projectiles coming out have a good chance of dropping missile ammo.
You will need to shoot a few missiles to destroy the Unit's shield at first, but when it is exposed, switch to firing beam shots. Whenever the circle rings come close, do a counter dash to destroy them quickly, though be careful with it so you do not take damage. Once the Unit is dead, try to destroy some left over rings to gain some missiles last second.
You should have around 80 missiles at the start of this fight if you have been managing well. Do the fight as normal, but if you are below 60 missiles when the first counter happens, shoot charged beams instead of missiles. You will lose time, but you will save enough missiles for the next fight. Countering the tentacle will give you a good boost in missiles. You will need to end the battle with around 55 missiles, so take a second counter if necessary. It should be relatively easy to not take damage during this fight, but sometimes the tentacle charge attack can get you. Make sure to always do this boss damageless as it eats a good chunk of your time.
With the discovery of one cycle drog, we can cut down much of the fight if we take damage and give up the double time bonus. We believe you should use the first paragragh for the first loop, but then switch to the one cycle drog strategy as the missile usage will be much lower while not losing time at all.
This guy will take at least 55 missiles to kill and will drop enough missiles to kill Escue with when it dies. Do not take any counters if you can help it since they reduce damage while it is stunned. Same as the regular fight.
Nothing really different here, just do not get hit. You can use the Core X at the end to get more missiles if neeeded. Make sure to end the fight with 28 missiles at least.
Basically same as Artaria Central Unit fight but you can screw the brain with screw attack.
With speed booster upgrade acquired, the room is enough to store a shinespark and spark the metal plates. One shot to expose the brain.
In the beginning, Raven Beak opens his damage absorb sheild and starts with two attacks. The laser field attack or claw attack. Firing ice missiles and placing cross bombs can make the shield grow red faster. Once the sehild glows red, Raven Beak will flash away and prepare a force attack which can be duct under to avoid it. Then counter he's attack and damage him to advance into phase 2. If not enough damage is outputted, Raven Beak's shield will glow gold and in this state, Raven Beak is immune to all attacks. You have to counter a counterable attack or the taunt to inflict damage.
If there's a divergence in the route, render it with a tab. Keep in mind that anything you put in a tab will not end up in the table of contents so you always want to put a tab block under some sort of header.
In the countering of Raven Beak attack after dodging the force attack. You can charge two strom missile locks and fire it for extra to help you for mashing to phase 2. Or Just mash through without strom is also possible if you have the hands.

For those who can't mash great, you fire 9 ice missiles to Raven Beak and wait a counter attack. Then fire an ice missile right after the sequence will inflict enough damage to Raven Beak to do his force attack. dodge and counter the next attack. Either firing ice missiles or tapping beam button is enough to advance into phase 2 in that two counter sequences.
