Above you and to the right is a path with a Chozo Zombie; jump up and counter its attack to destroy it quickly, then fire an Ice Missile at the nearby Enky to destroy it and give you access to another Energy Tank (07/12). Keep on heading up to the top, ignoring the path to the upper left and instead go to the Grapple Beam door at the upper right. Roll just inside the door and you will fall through a column of Pitfall Blocks directly into the room with a Chozo Statue that holds your next Aeion ability, the Pulse Radar. Grab this item and use it to solve the wall Morph Ball puzzle, dropping down to the bottom of this area. Ignore the Missile Tank here for now and head left past the Enky into the next room. Morph into the tunnel past the Chozo Recharge Statue and drop all the way into the water. Take the lower path to the right to reach a path leading to a Morph Ball Launcher which will shoot you down and around to a Missile Door. Open it and head inside to find a Chozo Statue that holds the Spin Boost. Use your new double spin jump to escape this room, then backtrack all the way back to the room with the water and climb up the left hand side to the Chozo Recharge Statue. Head to the right into the next room, turn left and charge up the Speed Booster, storing the Shinespark at the last minute. Drop back down into the water, then make a spin jump into the water and press B+Y+Left on the L Stick to horizontally rocket to the upper path. Pull yourself up to the ledge and roll through this tunnel to reach a path through some Pitfall Blocks to the Green Teleportal, which will transport you to Burenia.
From the Teleportal, head to the right and use Bombs to clear a path through the lower-right wall. Go down this new path, using the Ice Missiles to defeat a multitude of Enkys in the way. At the bottom, take the Power Beam door to the next room and grab the Energy Part (3/4), then jump back to the ledge above you. Pre-open the door to the left and run while charging the Speed Booster. Just on the other side, run far enough so that you expose the path in the floor while still giving yourself time to press Down to store a Shinespark. Run through the door, fall to the ground, slide under the low wall, then shoot your way through the floor. As you fall, press B+Y and Left on the L Stick to use your Shinespark to rocket to the slope to keep the Speed Boost going and run into the next room. Run through here and slide under the low wall and hit Down again to store another Shinespark right before you fall down. Fall of the ledge here and right as you clear the cliff, quickly Flash Shift three times to the right and you should be able to dodge the next hill without having to Shinespark into it and store again. If you successfully make it over, drop down on the other side and Shinespark horizontally to the right through the wall to clear a path both to where you need to go and to a helpful Missile+ Tank (127/275).
Once you've collected it, use Bombs to blast through the right-hand wall to reach a new path then drop down to the bottom of the Morph Ball tunnel. Jump up and aim down to blow apart the red blob in the wall here to expose a new path, then head up through the tunnel. At the end of the tunnel you need to roll out and still be able to get up to the ledge above you. This takes a bit of practice to execute correctly, and the swarm of aquatic creatures nearby doesn't give you endless time to get it right. Once you're up though, keep navigating your way up out of the Morph Ball passage to reach a room that you can stand up in. Here, use the Diffusion Beam on the right-hand wall to blow up another red blob, then charge up again and shoot across the way at another explodable red blob. Once it has been destroyed, use the Grapple Beam on the exposed block to destroy it and cause the large structure in the background to collapse and fall. This will destroy a large section of the floor underneath you, so follow the path down and Spin Boost to a ledge just to the left underneath the broken floor to reach a path to a door with a Missile Shield. Head in through here, navigate the watery path and head to the upper area to reach the Chozo Statue so you can at last claim the Gravity Suit.
Now that you can move normally in the water, drop down to the area below you. Run to the right, charging the Speed Booster as you go. Store the Shinespark and spin jump out to the middle of the watery area, then press B and Up to vertically Shinespark all the way to the top. Ignore the Missile Tank in the cage here for now and head to the right, Flash Shifting to get to the door, which leads to a Network Station. Listen to Adam talk about the temperature drop across the planet, then continue to the right and use the Flash Shift to cross the room to reach an elevator that leads back to Artaria.
When you arrive in this area, you'll notice that Artaria has completely been frozen over. This will restrict a lot of movement in the area, mostly locking you to a single path. From here, it is worth pointing out that you could get the Screw Attack while here, but it involves a very complicated loop through all of Artaria and saves no time over just getting it when you're supposed to grab it, so for now, head to the right through the Missile Door. Go forward and trigger the flipper gate to drop, then follow the path around the room down and to the right to reach the Power Beam door on the other side. Proceed through this short room to reach the next one, and shoot the red blob above you to explode part of the wall as well as lower another flipper gate above you. Run back to the left now, then turn right and run while charging up the Speed Booster. Store your Shinespark at the last minute, then morph into the tunnel, go up and fall down to reach the next room.
Red Chozo Soldiers have more health than the Silver ones and they come with shields that can deflect your fire. At the start of this fight, quickly use your stored Shinespark charge to rocket forward into the Chozo Soldier to automatically end the first phase of the fight and bring it to its phase where it uses its X-enhanced attacks. This Chozo-X has the same jumping and diving attack as the other ones, but this one also adds a new attack where it can hang on the wall and shoot a beam of toxic sludge at you. Ice Missiles and rapid-fire Plasma Beam fire should still be your weapon of choice here, and you can easily Flash Shift or Dash Melee away from the beams of sludge when the Chozo-X hangs on the wall. Keep targeting it to reduce its health until you reach the end. Like all the other Chozo Soldier fights, this one doesn't end until you successfully win a two-part Melee Counter QTE.
Once the Chozo Soldier has been defeated, you can continue on to the right and navigate the rest of the frozen Artaria as you make your way to Cataris. Start off by charging up your Speed Booster and run through the door to the right. When you exit, quickly store the Shinespark and then drop down to the ledge to the right. Grab the nearby **Energy Part (4/4) **to add another Energy Tank (08/12) to your inventory, then morph and press B to use a Ballspark to rocket horizontally to the right to clear out all of the Speed Booster blocks here. At the end of this path you'll be rewarded with another Missile+ Tank (137/275). Now go back the way you just came and drop down, continuing to head down the slope to reach the door at the end. Run at Speed Booster speed to fly through the door at the bottom, then wall jump your way up to reach the Power Beam door at the top right. Spin jump over the Chozo Zombie and keep going to the right to reach the room with the two frozen pools and the Chozo Recharge statue. Keep running to the right and take the bottom right door. Flash Shift across this room, roll through the Morph Ball tunnel, and you'll be in the room preceding where you initially encountered the tutorial about the Missile Blocks. Take the same path you did at the start of the game to the right through the door into the Network Station, and mash past Adam's briefing about the X that has caused Artaria and Cataris to freeze.
Continue into the next room to get to where you had the Melee Counter tutorial, slide under the low wall and take out the Chozo Zombie. Now ascend the ledges while avoiding the Icefleas, Spitclawks, and Nailongs to reach the upper right where you first performed the Elaine skip. This time, take the path to the right via the Morph Ball passage and climb up to get the Missile Tank (139/275) that should have been your first one, then continue on into the next room. Here Spin Boost into the air and Flash Shift over to the right to grab the small ledge, and bomb the corner to reveal another Missile Tank (141/275), then roll out of the hole and Flash Shift to cross the room back to the left so that you don't fall down into the middle of the room. You may have to stall yourself a bit with Flash Shifts if you lose too much height so that you can Spin Boost out of it. Return to the previous room and drop down the path a little ways to the left where you see the split heading up (it's right by the Spitclawk and the Nailong) and use an Infinite Bomb Jump to climb up to the top and head left into the alcove for another Missile Tank (143/275). Bomb through the wall and head up to the door at the top left, then climb up one ledge and use the Diffusion Beam to blast a red blob in the ceiling above you to keep going up, then take the Power Beam door on the right.
Flash Shift across the entire room past the armored Takumaku here to head towards where you fought Corpius. Take the top path through the frozen sensor lock door, then climb up the ledges to take the frozen sensor lock door at the top right. Head through this next room going up and dodge the Plys here, taking the Power Beam door at the top right to enter the large lava tunnel leading to Cataris. Speed Boost through this hallway, then drop all the way down in the next room to reach the frozen sensor lock door at the bottom right, and continue on through the large room. This time, you can Spin Boost up and use Flash Shifts to reach the door at the top right instead of relying on the Spider Magnet rail. Climb up the walls here to reach the path to the elevator leading to Cataris.
Head left through the wall and wind your way all the way down to the very bottom of the room. Shoot the red blob in the bottom wall to expose the path going left to reach a Missile Tank (145/275), then had through the Morph Ball tunnel here to reach the next vertical hallway. Climb up one level and head left to reach the boss door guarded by another Gobbler. Like all of the others, counter it to get a ton of health and Missile refills, then head into the door and use the Morph Ball passage in the ceiling to reach a Launcher. Set a Bomb in it to be rocketed through a tunnel to the area where you'll face off against the next boss.
This boss can be daunting until you know exactly how to avoid all of its attacks and the fastest way to kill it. Unfortunately you will not have Space Jump or Storm Missiles during this fight as you would if playing the intended way, so it can be a little bit on the difficult side to avoid some of the boss' moves.
At the start of the fight, Experiment No. Z-57 can do any of the following moves: it can either do a two-part slashing attack that fills up about 1/4 of the screen space, it can fire a laser that tracks along the ground and covers parts of the floor in damaging plasma, it can do a two-hand slash that fills up nearly 3/4 of the screen space, or it can fire a laser that goes vertically from the top to the bottom of the screen. For the first slashing attack, you'll want to Spin Boost on whatever side the claw is taking up less space (if the slash is from left to right, Spin Boost on the right). If you see the first laser attack, run towards the opposite side of the room as the laser tracks, then Flash Shift to the open spot when the boss pauses. The second slash attack can be dodged only by Spin Boosting in the center, and the vertical laser attack can be avoided by standing under the boss' head. This final laser attack gives you an opportunity to Melee Counter for some great damage in a QTE cutscene. During this fight, you want to avoid these attacks while pounding Experiment No. Z-57's head with Ice Missiles as they are the best form of damage in this fight.
After a little bit of damage, this boss will add two more attacks to its repertoire; it will attach its legs and arms to points in the room or it will create a large wind storm by firing a large laser at a set of fans on the right side of the screen, which causes little plasma waves to head in your direction. This last attack is heavily telegraphed, so you will always know when it is coming. You can use charged Plasma Beams to take out the appendages when they attach to points in the room for health and ammo refills (in fact, you really want to disable the appendages in this part since Experiment No. Z-57 can heal in this phase, which can drastically prolong the fight if you aren't proficient at the quick kill described a bit below), but you really want to pay attention to the part where it uses the fans to generate wind gusts. Run left to right against the wind, using the Spin Boost to dodge all of the plasma waves so you don't get blown into the plasma coating the left-hand wall. The waves come in groups of seven in the same order that requires the same jumps to dodge - normal jump, Spin Boost, normal jump, Spin Boost, normal jump, Spin Boost, and Spin Boost.
The seventh wave is delayed a bit, and it is in your best interest to start charging up the Speed Booster during this time. Store your Shinespark when you get the chance, then Spin Boost over the final energy wave and while you're still in the air, line up with Experiment No. Z-57's head and press B+Y and Right on the L Stick to use your Shinespark to rocket right into the boss' head. A successful hit means a one-hit kill and this boss fight will be over.
Once Experiment No. Z-57 bites the dust, its Core-X will disappear into the lava below, finishing off the boss and freeing you to continue. The ice will melt across Cataris and Artaria now, so you should take the exit out of the room through the floor and ascend the platforms in the next room to take the door at the upper right. Speed through the Network Station and backtrack the way you came here all the way to the elevator you took from Artaria. Instead of using it, continue on to the right and proceed through the next room to the upper-right Power Beam door to reach a hot room. In this room, drop into the lava below and follow the Morph Ball tunnels to the other side. Here, Spin Boost up to the left-hand wall and Wall Jump off of it to bounce your way up to the Blue Teleportal, which will return you to Artaria.
Exiting from the Teleportal, go to the right and use the Grapple Beam to get rid of a Grapple Block, then go into the next room and drop down, turning around to blow up the Plasma Beam shield on the door below you. Morph into the tunnel and drop into the Chozo room to claim the Screw Attack upgrade, then use Spin Boosts to crash through the Screw Attack blocks above you and claim a Missile Tank (147/275), then go over to the left and down to reach the water below. You'll see a group of red blobs in a section of rock that you need to do another Pseudowave to break. Dash Melee into the rock, crouch, and aim down at the path to the red blobs before firing your charge shot. This Pseudowave also takes a little practice to get just right, but if you line up the shot correctly, it will only take two charged Plasma Beams to cut through them and blow up the path leading through the bottom. Blowing up the rock will also reveal another Missile Tank(149/275), so grab it and continue taking the path to the right, bombing through the ceiling to reach a Grapple Door. Take it out and head into the next room, Screw Attacking to the top to reach the Missile Tank (151/275), then go back the way you just came into the other room. Climb up and Screw Attack through the ceiling and take the Power Beam door at the upper left corner to reach the Burenia elevator room. Head to the left-hand wall and Screw Attack through the obstacles to reach another Missile Tank (153/275), then take the elevator back towards Burenia.
From the entrance, head left and Flash Shift over the drop into the water. Screw Attack into the ceiling for a Missile Tank (155/275), then drop down and take the Power Beam door to a Network Station for another fireside chat with Adam. He'll congratulate you on finding the Screw Attack but curiously reiterate that Raven Beak is just too strong for you; mash through the text like normal and head through the door to the left, charging the Speed Booster as you go. Store the Shinespark in the next room before you collide with the Spitclawk in the ground, then Spin Boost/Screw Attack to the ledge in the center of the room and blast through the blocks to collect the Missile+ Tank
(165/275). This next part would ordinarily require the Space Jump, but you don't have that at the moment so you'll have to improvise unless you feel like making a challenging Infinite Bomb Jump. As soon as you've stored your Shinespark, Screw Attack/Spin Boost through the Screw Attack blocks to the left, then wall jump off the wall and Screw Attack through the blocks above you. As soon as you have broken through, immediately press B+Y+Up on the L Stick to use your Shinespark vertically to the top. You'll collide with a ledge, so quickly Flash Shift left, then right to grab the ledge and haul yourself up. All that's left to reach the top now is a quick Infinite Bomb Jump up the narrow shaft and you're all set. Fall down to the left and enter the large room to face a set of Twin Chozo Robots.
This time, there are two of them! Don't worry too much, even though you're facing one of each type (Gold and Silver), they're both laughably easy with your new Screw Attack ability. Lure them to the top of the room and just keep colliding into them with Screw Attacks and you'll finish them in no time.
Continuing on after the battle, Screw Attack to the locked area at the top, and Flash Shift past the sensor to reach the door. Before going through it, use a Missile on a corner block to reveal a Missile Tank (167/275), then head through the door to reach the Green Teleportal that will return you to Ghavoran.
From the Teleportal room, Screw Attack through the left-hand ceiling and head to the left through the Morph Ball tunnel. Fall into the water and use the Spin Boost/Screw Attack to destroy blocks above you to reach an enclosed area with a Grapple Block (without Space Jump, this may take you a few tries). Get up to this area with Wall Jumps if needed, and move the Grapple Block out of the way. Now go back to the left, run to the right while charging the Speed Booster, then Shinespark vertically straight up to the top of the room to reach a ledge leading to a boss door. Melee Counter and destroy it to access another room where you can take the lower path to the next boss.
Golzuna is a four-phase boss, although the only parts that are considered "boss-like" are the final two. When you enter this room, you'll see an X-Parasite coalesce into a Muzby-like creature in the center of the room. You can either spam the Plasma Beam or Screw Attack this first form for a fast kill, then the X-Parasite will escape and re-form into a much larger version of a Muzby, the Goliath. You've seen these before already, but you can take it out easily by running to one side and charging the Speed Booster before it fully forms. Store a Shinespark, wall jump and Flash Shift over its head to get behind it, then rocket straight into its back for a one-hit kill.
Once the Goliath has been destroyed, the X-Parasite assumes its next form, which is Golzuna proper. This is a much larger and more armored version of the Goliath, and without the Space Jump requires a Spin Boost chained into Flash Shifts to get over the top of it (although if you're extremely fast, you can do the same thing as before and charge the Speed Booster before Golzuna fully materializes, store a charge, Spin Boost/Flash Shift over its head and strike it from behind with the Shinespark). Golzuna's weak area is his tail just like the Goliath, but it can take much more punishment. Use your Ice Missiles for damage, and if you're very skilled with dodging, you can find the openings in its Cross Bomb attack. The little bomb orb will track you as you move and detonate Cross Bombs in little patterns. If you would rather play it safe, fire at Golzuna's back until the Cross Bomb bit starts, then Spin Boost and Flash Shift over to the other side where you're safe. Wait out the Bomb attack, then return to Golzuna's back and keep up your attack.
When you've caused enough damage, Golzuna will die and the X-Parasite will shield itself in a Core-X form. This floats in somewhat random arcs as it pursues you and drops health and ammo refills in the form of X-Parasites as you inflict damage. The fastest way to deal with this is to strike it with an Ice Missile so it starts to fly up, then run either left to right or right to left (depending on where you are in the room), charge the Speed Booster until you can store a Shinespark, and then Shinesparking directly into the Core-X for an instant kill.
Destroying Golzuna's Core-X form yields the X-Parasite that holds the Cross Bomb power-up, and like every other item you'll need it right away to escape this area. Head through the door to the right and use these Cross Bombs on the rock in the lower-right corner to open up a path through the rock. Cross Bomb again to expose a path to a Missile Tank (169/275), then navigate the Morph Ball tunnels leading up, using Cross Bombs to propel yourself across the Pitfall Blocks. Bomb through the ceiling here into the room above you, then use the Screw Attack to get rid of the ceiling blocks to reach the room with a Shuttle that will take you to Hanubia.
Leave the shuttle area and head to the right, Speed Boosting through the long glass hallway area and check in at the Network Station where Adam will again brief about nothing important. From here, head right and Speed Boost into the Chozo Zombie, then set Cross Bombs to get through the wall and expose a path leading right and down. Avoid the Rodotuk on the wall and head down, using Bombs to access a path through the left-hand wall. In this tight room, use Cross Bombs to get through the Morph Ball passages while destroying the many Rodotuks in this room, and collect the Missile Tank (171/275) along the way. Shoot through the floor, destroy the Grapple Block in the narrow passage and continue down, Screw Attacking the Shakernaut along the way. Continue heading to the right through the Power Beam door to reach an elevator that goes down to another part of Ferenia.
Coming down into Ferenia, your path is blocked on one side by a large block that you can't Pseudowave through, so instead Dash Melee to the right to fall through some Pitfall Blocks, then head to the left through the Power Beam door into a cold room. Flash Shift through this room and drop down at the end of the path all the way to the bottom to reach the Power Beam door down here at the bottom left. Speed Boost through this entire area and head straight across to the door on the other side, then shoot through the ceiling and head up to the top through the Power Beam door to reach another room. Speed Boost here past the Takumaku and head towards the door at the left that leads out to a shuttle connecting Ferenia to Ghavoran. While still at Speed Booster velocity, wall jump off the left-hand wall and turn back around heading to the right. Jump up to the platform and make a low wall jump off the right-hand wall (just above the door), then bounce back to the left and slide your way through the blocks to reach the other side. Press Down as soon as you get out of the passage to charge your Shinespark, then roll to the center of the Morph Ball passage, set a Bomb to destroy the blocks and press B and Up to vertically Shinespark up to a room holding a Missile+ Tank (181/275).
From where you're at now, you can use a Pseudowave in this area to get the Space Jump early, but this route doesn't cover this method as the Space Jump is the item we're going for next anyway, and there is a Missile Tank that you can't access via the Pseudowave route. For more information on this particular style of Pseudowave, I recommend checking out Samura1man's tutorials on YouTube, as it is used in the Any% route. For now, go back to the room you were in prior to this and work your way to the bottom past the Fulmite in the tunnel here and drop to the very bottom. A Sabotoru quickly moves to guard the door, but you can kill it with a Screw Attack. From the bottom here, run to the left, charging up the Speed Booster and hit Down to store a Shinespark just as you go through. Slide Jump off of the edge here, wall jump off of the wall and set a Cross Bomb at the upper left corner of the wall, then fall down and vertically Shinespark up to the top of a newly-exposed path leading up. Roll into the passage for a Missile Tank (183/275), then continue going through the Morph Ball tunnel up into the next room to find a Chozo Statue that holds the Space Jump.
Exit back via the Morph Ball passage, but this time go into the water pool to the left. Take out the Redenki swarm at the bottom and climb up the other side to where the two claw slugs are on the walls, and freeze the one on the left-hand wall to use as a platform. Climb to it and set a Cross Bomb slightly above where it is attached to the wall to expose a Morph Ball passage and roll through. This takes you to a room where you need to Screw Attack through the left-hand wall and navigate the small circle of Pitfall Blocks to shoot the red blob in the ceiling above you. Once you blow it up, you can Space Jump to the newly-exposed ledge for another Missile Tank (185/275). Now drop down and shoot a hole in the right-hand wall and expose another hidden path with Bombs, then roll into the next area and shoot through the floor directly below you and take the Morph Ball passage going back to the left.
Head left in this room past the Yojimbee swarm and the Vulkrans to take a Morph Ball tunnel near the bottom-right corner of the room, and this deposits you in a room with a Ground Shocker. Screw Attack it and morph, then Morph Jump diagonally to the right while setting a Cross Bomb at the upper right corner of the ceiling to expose a path to another Missile Tank (187/275), then continue back through the Morph Ball tunnel you took to get here, slide under the low wall to the left and Bomb through the floor to keep going down. Destroy a Grapple Block down here, morph through the hole left behind, and then proceed to drop all the way down to the bottom of this area with sloped walls. Once at the bottom, run/Flash Shift all the way to the right and blast through the red blobs in the wall to access a door leading to an elevator room. Bypass this and keep going to the right, then jump up through a room you acquired a Missile+ tank in earlier and take the left-hand door into a cold room. Follow the path up and right through this room to reach a Power Beam door at the top, then fall all the way down and right in the next area to reach a portal to the E.M.M.I. Zone.
E.M.M.I.-06WB can cause many problems here since its beam sees far and wide through the walls, so you need to practice being as fast as possible. Space Jump up to the center of the room and Flash Shift to the right to land at the bottom, then continue Flash Shifting to the right to reach the Power Beam door at the bottom right. This next room is almost completely submerged, but your Gravity Suit makes this negligible. Just go down, then up, all the way to the E.M.M.I. Zone exit at the top, using the Space Jump to make it faster. Ignore the Spider Magnet walls and ceilings as they can slow you down. Speed through the exit at the top right when you reach it.
You now have a very short trek up to the top of this next room. Climb up to the ceiling, set Bombs to blow away part of the floor, and Screw Attack up past the three Rodomithon-X's to the E.M.M.I. Zone portal at the top left.
This is another relatively long trek through a set of water-filled rooms. From the start, morph through the tunnel directly ahead of you, then climb up this side of the room, winding your way around to reach the Power Beam door at the top-right corner. The next room has a few Autectors that will spring up at you and detonate, but you can handle them with Screw Attacks to easily eliminate them. Go up, right, down into the water and continue making your way to the right to the Power Beam door at the bottom right, using Space Jumps and Flash Shifts to go faster and stay ahead of your pursuing E.M.M.I. In the next room, go through the small Morph Ball passage ahead of you, Space Jump up the wall out of the water, then head right and down to reach the E.M.M.I. Zone portal exit at the bottom right.
Directly below you is another Rodomithon-X that you can take out with the Screw Attack, then continue heading down to the bottom. Screw Attack the Shakernaut here and continue to the right, morphing into the small tunnel below you. Go left, fall through the Pitfall Blocks, then Screw Attack the Daivo that's sitting on a ledge here. Flash Shift right to reach a Morph Ball passage, and take it into the next vertical area. Shoot up through the ceiling here to reveal a new room, then fire a Missile at the top-right corner to expose a Missile Tank (189/275), then go back down and work your way past the floors that you can shoot through to reach a door guarded by a Gobbler at the bottom. Melee Counter the Gobbler for any refills, then run back to the right and turn around. Open the door and run through at Speed Booster speed, storing the Shinespark just on the other side of the door.
Run to the left-ish side of the room and wait for Escue to fly into the arena, then immediately Shinespark into its body to inflict a huge amount of damage. During the rest of the fight itself, Escue doesn't do much in the way of attacks except protect itself with an electrical barrier that blocks your attacks, shoot purple energy balls that can electrify the floor, and deploy Storm Missiles against you. Your weapon of choice in this fight should be the Screw Attack as it causes massive damage to Escue and interrupts all of its attacks. Keep hitting Escue with Screw Attacks until it reverts into a Core-X, then just keep using Screw Attacks on the Core-X until you destroy it as well.
Absorbing this X-Parasite gifts you with the Storm Missile upgrade, which allows you to lock onto 5 targets and fire 3 Super Missiles at each one for a net total of 15 Super Missiles. You'll be using this item very soon, but for now exit Escue's room and proceed back up and left the way you came to this room. Backtrack to the room prior to the vertical one before Escue and slide into the passage near the floor and set a Bomb to grab the Energy Part (1/4), then go up and Screw Attack the Daivo again before heading left via the Morph Ball passage at the bottom left of this room. Roll through the hallway here to a small room where you need to use your new Storm Missiles in order to proceed. Hold R and sweep across all five targets, then let loose to destroy the box. Blast the Yojimbee swarm on the other side and take the Power Beam door to your left. This places you in the room with the three Rodomithon-X enemies leading to an E.M.M.I. portal. Head up and left to enter the E.M.M.I. Zone once again.
Fortunately it's a short path this time. Take the Morph Ball tunnel again that's right in front of you and climb to the top of the room with the Space Jump, and take the E.M.M.I. Zone exit at the top left.
This exit places you right in front of another Storm Missile box, so target he five locks and let them fly to destroy the box, then head up and Screw Attack through the ceiling. Go up, roll through the passage and drop down on the other side, but set a Cross Bomb as you fall to blow apart the set of Bomb Blocks on the far right wall. You'll fall through some Pitfall Blocks, so quickly climb back up to the new opening you created with the Cross Bomb before the blocks reform, and use the Grapple Beam through the long opening to destroy the Grapple Block. Roll through the tunnel and Morph Jump before landing on the Pitfall Blocks to get into the right-hand tunnel, then Bomb through part of the floor here to fall through another block into a tunnel holding another Energy Part (2/4). Screw Attack out of the ceiling and go ack to the previous room, and take the path down in this room past the Storm Missile Box you just destroyed to the Power Beam door at the bottom left. This takes you to one of the large rooms here, and the doors will lock behind ou because it's time for another mini-boss fight.
It's another set of Twin Chozo Robot Soldiers, and you should handle them exactly the same way as the first set. Lure them to the top of the room and alternate colliding into them with Screw Attacks to quickly make short work of this mini-boss.
After both Chozo Robots have been destroyed, head up and to the right to take the Power Beam door into the large cold area. Space Jump up the vertical passage and take the short avenue to the right. Set a Cross Bomb to open a path in the wall, then continue on into the next door. Drop down one level and use the Grapple Beam to open a door, then head down another level and use the Charge Beam door to get to the next room. Run all the way to the right, then turn and run left while charging the Speed Booster. You'll hit full velocity while running to the left and expose a new path in the floor. Store your Shinespark right before you fall down, then blast through the rest of the blocks to find a hidden room and quickly destroy a block with the Grapple Beam. Morph into the tunnel and then press B to charge a Ballspark so you can fly to the right into another hidden room, where you can shoot the upper left corner for a Missile Tank (191/275). Go back the way you came and head into the room above you, destroying the Takumaku in here. Use some Cross Bombs to continue through the wall to the right, then Screw Attack up through the ceiling to reach another set of five locks. Target and blast them all with the Storm Missiles, then drop down to the right and proceed towards the right to the E.M.M.I. Zone.
In this area, you need to make a loop around to the upper right corner. Drop down, Space Jumping and Screw Attacking the entire way for much faster movement and head to a Morph Ball tunnel at the upper right. This deposits you in a water-filled room with a few wall obstacles that contain red blobs in them. Navigate down and up through the water, and blast the red blobs as fast as you can, as it is an almost guaranteed certainty that E.M.M.I.-06WB will be closing in on you. Take out all three walls along the path and Space Jump up to the Morph Ball tunnel at the upper right corner. There is a short empty space here before the entrance to the Central Unit room, so start running and charge up your Speed Booster.
You should hit Speed Booster velocity shortly after arriving in the area. Store a Shinespark and aim up at the Central Unit, quickly using it to take out the shielding. Once it's gone, Screw Attack the Unit itself for a fast kill. Mash past the text cutscene, then use the Omega Cannon to melt the door shield and blast it open, then head out into the previous room to challenge to start a sequence different from the previous ones you have battled.
Firstly, the room preceding this one is actually an elevator of sorts. Enter Aim Mode again and use the Omega Cannon to fire a charged blast at the orb to the left, then after the elevator starts to lower and drains the water from the room below you, use the Morph Ball Launcher to your right to rocket through a tunnel to land in the next room. In here is a little bit of a path that you have to clear through some rocks by blasting them, a Wide Beam Box that has to be moved, and basically a few more obstacles. I recommend practicing this one a lot because E.M.M.I.-06WB moves just as fast as the previous few and doesn't give you a whole lot of room to maneuver. In fact, you may have to content yourself with using the Omega Stream to melt a bit, run, melt a bit, run, etc. If you need as much room and time as possible, you can take the entire loop around to a second Wide Beam Box and stand just before a set of Pitfall Blocks, but you must ensure you loop E.M.M.I.-06WB correctly (look at the minimap to make sure); if you set up the loop too fast, E.M.M.I.-06WB may just circle around and grab you from behind. Once you have melted its shield and you have sufficient space to charge, blast its eye with your Omega Cannon to destroy it.
Once E.M.M.I.-06WB has been destroyed, you will finally receive the Wave Beam as a reward. Leave this area by maneuvering past all of the obstacles including the two Flash Shift gates as you make your way to the upper left corner of the room. Destroy the Wave Beam Cover here and destroy the red blob in the wall here to reach the Zone's exit.
